The Town of Waynesville Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at 5:30 pm, in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC.

Social District

The Town of Waynesville has established a temporary social district for two Haywood County Tourism Development Authority events, The Ice Block Party and the Society of American Travel Writers Dine-Around.

The Waynesville Public Art Commission has cancelled their regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, December 11th due to a lack of agenda items. The next meeting will be January 8th. 

The commission operated as a policy making commission from 1969 until 1971 when the State of North Carolina officially approved the Waynesville Recreation Commission as a non-policy making commission.

The Advisory Commission will meet the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm.
