The annual Waynesville Christmas Parade is one of the best around and a favorite tradition for many in the mountains. The parade winds through downtown Waynesville on December 1, 2025, starting at 6pm. Starting after dark lets all the colorful lights really shine, creating that perfect touch of Christmas magic.

You’ll see festive floats, marching bands, dancers, Jeeps, tractors, and local police and fire departments all joining in the fun. And of course, the highlight of the evening comes at the very end when Santa makes his grand appearance.
