Waynesville, NC – The Town of Waynesville is proud to announce RecJam 2025, a milestone celebration honoring the 25th Anniversary of the Waynesville Recreation Center. This exciting community-wide event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and promises a full day of energy, entertainment, and local flavor.

Join the Waynesville Public Art Commission for their annual fundraising event. Your ticket supports the commission of a mural featuring Waynesville’s historic Main Street and the original arch, and guarantees some of the best barbecue WNC has to offer, courtesy of Ben’s Backdraft BBQ. Enjoy live music by the Bridget Gossett Band, a silent auction, mocktails by Roll Up Herbal Bar, and incredible locally brewed beer from Frog Level Brewing!
The Town of Waynesville will host a public input meeting as part of its ongoing Stormwater Master Plan Study on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of Town Hall, located at 9 S. Main Street.
