Includes the Town Manager's Office and Town Clerk. The Manager is the chief administrator and is responsible for implementing Town Council policies and developing the annual budget. The Town Clerk maintains the Town’s records, provides support to the Board of Aldermen, and provides information to citizens and the news media.
Responsible for providing a safe and adequate water supply and wastewater treatment service, and the maintenance of Town streets, sidewalks and vehicles. The department also collects solid waste for residential and commercial customers, as well as maintains Greenhill Cemetery.
Prepares growth management policies; land use, transportation and housing plans; analyzes demographics; and maintains maps. It handles zoning, annexation, development plan review, and sign and temporary use permits.
Provides a variety of recreation, sports, environmental, historical and cultural arts programs. It develops and maintains our system of parks, recreation facilities, athletic fields and other facilities.
