due to lack of agenda items.

the Zoning Board of Adjustment
will be on Tuesday,

As of January 20th, 2026 the Sanitation Department began their fourth and final pass through Town to remove leaves, with the goal to complete leaf removal services at the end of the month.  Leaf removal will resume in mid-October, 2026.

The primary goal of our snow removal efforts is to ensure that residents, businesses, and emergency responders can move safely through the Town of Waynesville, even in the worst weather conditions.

Mission Statement

The Waynesville Public Art Commission will be holding a Special Called Meeting on February 9th, 2026 at 1pm to listen to the presentations of finalists selected for the Historic Main Street Mural project that will be installed at 121 North Main Street.

The water consumers of Town of Waynesville in Haywood County are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to a line break.

There is an active Boil Water Advisory as of 7:15am this morning. Please boil water, vigorously, for one minute when using any water for human consumption ((including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation) or use bottled water.
