The Town of Waynesville has established a temporary social district for all 2026 First Friday events.

The Town of Waynesville has established a temporary social district for five Hazelwood Boosters events. 

The Southwestern Commission Council of Governments, in partnership with the Western Piedmont Council of Governments, is offering the WNC Home Repair Readiness Program for homeowners in Hurricane Helene-affected counties, including Haywood County.

The July 14th, 2026 regular scheduled meeting of the Town Council has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items.

Ordinance for Social District

Town of Waynesville Offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd. The Waynesville Recreation Center will remain open on Saturday, July 4th, from 7am to 12pm, with the lap pool operating from 8am-12pm.  The Old Armory will remain closed on July 4th.
