The Downtown Waynesville Commission will hold a Special Called meeting at 8:30 am on Tuesday, April 28 in the Municipal Building Conference Room located at 16 S Main Street in Waynesville.

April 23, 2026 Meeting 

The Town Council will hold a Special Meeting on April 27,2026 at 9:30 am in the Council Chamber located at 9 S. Main Street, Waynesville.

The Town of Waynesville Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC, to consider a text amendment establishing the Rural Conservation Zoning District.

Members of the Town Council will be attending a workshop to discuss the Recreation Comprehensive Plan. Councilmembers may be meeting virtually or in person at 129 Legion Drive, Waynesville on May 20th at 10am.  

The Town of Waynesville, NC has hired SAM, LLC to survey and map the Town’s stormwater system. This work consists of locating utility manholes and other utility features with global positioning system (GPS) equipment.
