The Waynesville Public Art Commission will be holding a Special Called Meeting on February 9th, 2026 at 1pm to listen to the presentations of finalists selected for the Historic Main Street Mural project that will be installed at 121 North Main Street. The meeting will be held in the Town Hall Board Room located at 9 S. Main Street, Waynesville, NC.

The Waynesville Public Art Commission encourages residents to watch the presentations either in person or via YouTube Live by visiting youtube.com/@TownofWaynesville/streams.  Any comments regarding the proposed art pieces can be emailed to the Town Clerk at cpoolton@waynesvillenc.gov, or submitted in person at 16 S. Main Street, Waynesville.
