The Town of Waynesville Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 5:30 pm, in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC, to consider a rezoning request for the 5.48-acre parcel located at 1399 Plott Creek R

Beginning Monday, October 20th, 2025 for the Fall season, Public Works will use the leaf vacuum to remove leaves. During leaf collection season, there will be no brush or yard waste pick up in accordance with Section 44-45 of the Town ordinances.

The annual Waynesville Christmas Parade is one of the best around and a favorite tradition for many in the mountains. The parade winds through downtown Waynesville on December 1, 2025, starting at 6pm.
