The Town’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan will guide future decisions for Waynesville's park facilities and recreational programs over the next 10 years. Your input on this survey will help the Town identify Goals, Objectives, and Action-Items (see definitions below) that will guide future enhancement and expansion of Waynesville parks, programs, and events.

  • Goals: A clear statement describing the intended long-term outcome or achievement for Waynesville’s Parks & Recreation offerings, providing direction for future planning and decision-making.
    • Example: Improve Recreation Facilities
  • Objectives: Specific, measurable outcomes that contribute to achieving the overarching goal.
    • Example: Ensure playground equipment is safe and accessible.
  • Action-Items: Concrete steps or activities planned to accomplish each objective.
