Water and Sewer Maintenance
The Town of Waynesville provides water and sewer service to residents inside town, as well as a number of customers outside the corporate limits, including Lake Junaluska Assembly and Junaluska Sanitary District. To provide water and sewer service to our own customers, the Town maintains as estimated 143 miles of water lines, and 69 miles of sewer lines.
The Town maintains the water and sewer lines to their point of connection, usually at the water meter or sewer tap. Maintenance of the water and/or sewer lines from this point to your house or business is the property owner's responsibility.
