The Town provides sanitation services to residential and commercial customers within Town limits. The fees for service are set annually, and billed monthly. The waste is taken directly to White Oak Landfill, which is owned and operated by Haywood County.
If you have followed the outlined procedures, you can be certain town employees are working according to schedule, and making every effort to collect your curbside items in the most efficient manner possible.

Holiday Schedule
During holiday weeks, your normal garbage and recycling collection day may change. Collection may occur even though Town Hall is closed. Citizens are encouraged to refer to the holiday schedule five to seven days prior to a holiday for updated collection schedules and additional information concerning affected Town services.
Inclement Weather
It is often unsafe to operate large sanitation vehicles during snow events, and your garbage service may be delayed. Waste should still be placed for collection, and crews will be working hard to catch up as soon as possible after the streets are clear.
