The Town of Waynesville offers reliable, publicly owned electrical service to 3,000 residential and commercial customers. The Town purchases power through a wholesale contract with Santee-Cooper. Residents and businesses located outside of the Town’s electric service area are served by Duke Energy or Haywood EMC.
The Town of Waynesville provides electrical service to a limited area within the Town. For information regarding utility connections please contact (828) 456-3515. Payments for Waynesville electric service can be made at the Hazelwood Branch Office, 280 Georgia Avenue.
