In addition to fire suppression, the Waynesville Fire Department provides non-transport emergency medical services at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level, vehicle accident extrication, fire and life safety education programs, and child passenger safety seat installation education.
Burning permits, for those outside of city limits, are available at both stations as well as online (click here for permit). Burning permits for those inside city limits are only available in special circumstances. These permits are available through the Town Fire Marshal at (828) 456-3516.
