9/30/2026: Waynesville Parks & Recreation is excited to invite the community to its Hotel Transylvania Halloween Party on Friday, October 16, from 5–8 p.m. at the Waynesville Recreation Center parking lot. This year’s celebration will be the biggest Halloween event ever hosted by Waynesville Parks & Recreation, featuring an evening of family-friendly activities, entertainment, treats, and Halloween fun. Best of all, everything at the event is completely FREE, and no registration is required. Families are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes and enjoy an evening filled with activities for all ages.

“We are excited to bring the community together for what will be our biggest Halloween celebration yet. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and completely free night where families can make memories together and enjoy an evening of Halloween fun,”said program coordinator Cameron Kanetzke.
Whether families come for the hayrides, egg hunt, inflatables, face painting, games, treats, costume contest, or simply to spend an evening together, there will be something for everyone.
