Notice of Two (2) Public Hearings-Town of Waynesville Town Council

The Town of Waynesville Town Council will hold two (2) public hearings on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 6:00 pm, in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC, to consider:

1. Text amendments to remove the minimum parking requirements, as required by recently passed House Bill 162, the Parking Lot Reform and Stormwater Control Act (LDS Chapter 9).

2. Text amendments to remove the screening requirement for Outdoor Storage in Commercial Industrial districts (LDS 3.5.8).
