The Town of Waynesville Planning Board will hold two (2) public hearings on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC, to consider:

A site plan amendment to the Russ Avenue Regional Center Conditional District (RA-RC) for the Chick-fil-A property at 45 Barber Blvd, Waynesville, NC 28786 (PIN 8616-22-6393). The proposed site modification would remove a sidewalk and some landscaping along the southeastern side of the property in order to expand the drive-thru from one lane to two lanes.

A Special Use Permit request for an affordable senior housing development at 38 Hall Top Road in Waynesville, NC 28786 (PIN 8616-13-3822).
