Notice of Three (3) Public Hearings-Town of Waynesville Planning Board

The Town of Waynesville Planning Board will hold three (3)  public hearings on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 5:30 pm, in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC, to consider:

1. A major site plan review for a 200-unit multi-family development located off Hyatt Creek Road in Waynesville, NC, on two unaddressed parcels: 15.67-ac parcel (PIN 8604-47-3885) and a 16.49-acre parcel (PIN 8604-37-8735).

2. A text amendment to the glazing and transparency requirements for commercial uses, Land Development Standards Section 5.10.3- Ground Level Detailing.

3. A text amendment to the findings of fact and consistency statement requirements for major site plans and major subdivisions, Land Development Standards Sections 15.8.2 and 15.9.3.
