Notice of Special Called Meeting-Town Council on 7/31/25

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
The Town Council of Waynesville will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00am. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville. The Council will consider a resolution to apply for a bridge loan from the NC Department of Environmental Quality and discuss a State Revolving Loan and grant opportunity.  Agenda is as follows:

1. Call to Order

2. Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the submission of a bridge loan from the Department of Environmental Quality.

3. Consider rejecting an $8.5 million dollar State Revolving Loan in order to apply for a $5 million dollar DEQ grant. 

4. Consider Discussion of Appointments to Boards and Commissions
