Notice of (2) Public Hearings 

Waynesville Planning Board

The Town of Waynesville Planning Board will hold two (2) public hearings on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC, to consider:

  1. Text amendments to the Stormwater Ordinance, Land Development Standards (LDS) Section 12.5. The proposed text amendments are based on recommendations from the Comprehensive Stormwater Plan and mandatory changes required by recently passed House Bill 162, the Parking Lot Reform and Stormwater Control Act.

  2. Text amendments related to permit choice and duration of the site-specific vesting plans to comply with the new G.S. 143-755(a1), S.L. 2026-41 and Senate Bill 445, S.L. 2026-59, LDS Sections 15.2.3 and 15.16.
