NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING-WAYNESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Town Hall Board Room, located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC, to consider text amendments to Chapter 30 – Fire Prevention and Protection, Section 30-3 – Inspections for Fire Hazards, of the Waynesville Code of Ordinances. The proposed text amendments would update periodic fire inspection standards and add requirements for the installation of key boxes when there is a change in occupancy classification.
