Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Town of Waynesville Customers

Boil Water Notice Rescinded 

The Boil Water Advisory that was issued for the Town of Waynesville, in Haywood county the morning of January 25, 2026 has been rescinded as of 7:00 pm January 26, 2026. This means that if you are a Town of Waynesville water customer, you do not have to continue boiling your water.  Customers of Junaluska Sanitary District and Lake Junaluska Assembly are still under a Boil Water Advisory until Junaluska Sanitary District and Lake Junaluska notify their customers.

Next Steps:

Run bathtub faucets (shower faucets will work if you do not have a bathtub) with cold water until water is clear and water pressure is normal. If you have an upper story bathtub or shower, it is recommended to run that faucet.
