Please be advised that on Saturday, August 22nd, there will be several street closures due to the Mountain Valley Mile race.
Starting at 5:30pm, Grimball Drive from Morgan Street to South Main will be closed, and South Main Street from Hazelwood Avenue to Depot Street will be closed.
Detour signage will be placed to help guide traffic around the race route. Drivers can detour around South Main Street using Waynewood Drive, Auburn Drive, Shelton Street, Pigeon Street, and Wall Street.
Roads will re-open at 9:00pm.
