Waynesville, NC – The Town of Waynesville is proud to announce RecJam 2025, a milestone celebration honoring the 25th Anniversary of the Waynesville Recreation Center. This exciting community-wide event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and promises a full day of energy, entertainment, and local flavor.
RecJam 2025 will feature a wide range of family-friendly activities, including:
- A 5K Race managed by Kick-It Event Management
- A competitive Disc Golf Tournament
- Live music performances
- Local vendors and food trucks
- And much more!
This celebration not only commemorates a quarter-century of health and wellness programming but also serves as a launchpad for the department’s future.
“We are incredibly excited to mark this 25-year milestone with an event that brings everyone together,” said Luke Kinsland, Director. “RecJam will be a celebration of our past, present, and the bright future we envision for the Waynesville Recreation Center and our Parks & Recreation system overall.”
