The Waynesville Zoning Board of Adjustment is accepting applications for three alternate seats.  Applicants must live within the incorporated town limits or the extra-territorial jurisdiction of the Town of Waynesville.  Regularly scheduled meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm.  The “ZBA” is established as a quasi-judicial, administrative board that operates on a level between the enforcement officials of the Town and the Courts to hear appeals of zoning decisions, or applications for variances from the Town’s Land Development Standards. For more information please refer to the Waynesville Land Development Standards Sections 14.4, 15.12, and 15.13 as adopted by the Town of Waynesville and in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes 160D-302, 403(b), 405, 406, 702, 705, 1405, or contact Development Services Director Elizabeth Teague at (828) 456-8647.
