Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Waynesville, Purchasing Department, 129 Legion Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786 until 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on February 3, 2020.
Bid documents may be examined at 129 Legion Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786. Questions regarding the plans and specifications may be directed to Rob Hites or Amie Owens at (828) 452-2491. All parties interested in submitting bids will be asked to provide their contact information.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time on Monday, January 22, 2020 in the lobby of the Municipal Building located at 16 South Main Street.
Following review of the pre-bid meeting agenda times, participants will be allowed to ask questions related to the project scope of work. Questions relating to the schedule of work may be directed to Rob Hites or Amie Owens at (828) 456-2491.
The scope of work is outlined in two specification sheets (attached). Two quotes shall be provided: (1) One quote will be provided for work involving the areas that were damaged by water and covered by insurance. (2) The second quote will involve renovations to the 1st floor that do not involve areas damaged by water. The Town of Waynesville shall be responsible for payment made to the contractor.
