The Town of Waynesville
The Finance Department provides accounting and financial management in support of all Town operations and in strict accordance with North Carolina General Statutes. This department manages utility and tax billing, collections, accounts payable, cash and investments, fixed assets, debts, grants, payroll, and procurement of goods and services for all Town departments. It also provides annual budget preparation services to the Town Manager and Board of Aldermen.
Our customer service representatives are available to assist customers in person at the Hazelwood Office, 280 Georgia Avenue, or via phone by calling 828-456-3515 during office hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
Customer service representatives are responsible for opening and closing utility accounts, processing utility and tax payments, setting up business licenses, and answering billing and account questions
